Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Physiotherapy Directories (JPD). All submissions are initially screened by the editorial team to assess their relevance to the journal’s aims and scope and adherence to basic quality standards. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are sent for double-blind peer review. Submissions that do not meet minimum quality or scope requirements may be desk rejected.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any copyrighted material included in the manuscript. All listed authors must have contributed to the work and consented to authorship. Where applicable, research must have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with national and institutional guidelines.

Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must align with the journal’s aims and scope.

  • The similarity index must be below 15%.

  • Submissions must be scientifically sound and grammatically correct.

  • References must be formatted in Vancouver style.

Conflict of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest. If no conflicts exist, a statement declaring the absence of conflicts must be included.


Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to make supporting data publicly available. A Data Availability Statement must specify where data can be accessed or explain any restrictions.


Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Physiotherapy Directories does not charge any APCs. Submission, peer review, and publication are free of cost.


Archiving Policy

The journal ensures long-term preservation of its content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS, guaranteeing permanent accessibility even in the event of journal discontinuation.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

✓This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

✓This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for  consideration.

✓ All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

✓ All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.

✓ Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
